Spirit DollsPlay with dolls in a whole new way! Art dolls are THE BIG
thing to hit the rubberstamping and paper arts world. Be at the forefront as you
bring your talents to fabric. Create a 4" -6" mixed media soft
sculpture art doll of your very own. This kit contains almost everything you need to
get started. Pre-sewn doll form ready for rubber stamping or painting, charms, one of a kind hand made polymer clay
face, a variety of seed and accent beads and written bead embroidery
instructions with diagrams. A note about intent or purpose. I usually make my dolls with someone in mind. I try and use healing stones or herbs that are appropriate for that person. These can be sewn into the doll or included in the surface design. For example, the sample doll was made for a friend having sleep troubles. I used the color blue, which is calming and stuffed some lavender inside, also a calming component. I used sodalite and amethyst beads, these stones are thought to be calming or sleep inducing as well. If you are creating a healing doll for yourself, be sure to use colors that appeal to you and add charms and gemstone beads that have special meaning for you. If you would like I would be happy to include some stones or herbs in your kit, just let me know what you are interested in. Some of the things these dolls can be created for include: Pregnancy, emotional and physical healing, starting over, creativity, protection and celebration.
