Here are some of the classes that I offer in the Twin Cities area. Classes can be tailored to accommodate most groups. These would be very cool and memorable birthday parties for anyone over the age of 10. What about a Bridal Shower where everyone gets to make a piece of jewelry for the wedding. And let's not forget the very fun Craft and Draft Nights. You supply the friends, snacks and beverages (alcoholic or not) and I supply all necessary art materials. For more information or to book a class, email me. 

Polaroid Transfers

Create one of a kind prints from your 35mm slides. Images can be printed on a variety of hand made and commercial papers as well as fabric.   We will cover what equipment and supplies are needed as well as creating several wonderful prints to take home. Please bring several 35mm slides to print. Instructor also has slides to use. All supplies included. 3+ hours depending on how much you want to cover.

 

      

Simply Stringing

Learn the basics of bead stringing to create a wonderful bracelet, necklace and/or earrings. Class covers the use of a variety of tools, findings and beads. 2-3 hours, depending on projects.

 

Stamped and Beaded Leather Pouch

Using pigment inks, metallic markers and rubber art stamps, and polymer clay cabochons create a stamped leather amulet pouch perfect for carrying treasures. We will embellish with eyelets, bead embroidery, charms, and fibers. 3+ hours.

 

Spirit Dolls  aka Mixed Media Art Dolls

Play with dolls in a whole new way! Create a 4-6” mixed media soft sculpture art doll of your very own. We will be stamping on painted fabric doll forms, using custom push molds to make polymer clay faces and adding bead embroidery embellishments. 3 hours.

 

Hinged Paper Art Dolls

Hinged art dolls are so much fun and nothing like the paper dolls you had as a child. Create miniature works of art using collage techniques, eyelets, tiny brads, beads and of course, rubber stamps! Great as ornaments or temporarily attach them to a 
hand -made card and voila' you have a fabulous appreciation gift for friends,  
co workers and teachers. This can also be a great jumping off point for talking about self esteem and body image. 1-2 hours.
