Altered Altoid tin. Top is painted with Lumiere paint, the stamped Goddess is a handcarved stamp pressed into polymer clay. The inside is painted and has a small mirror, a Goddess quote and a polymer clay goddess figure. The idea behind this shrine was to encourage the recipient to Love herself and be comfortable in her own skin. 
Excerpt from original note that accompanied the tin "The idea behind this shrine is self esteem and liking what you see in yourself. Goddess imagery is everywhere these days and she is generally portrayed as a voluptuous and ripe. This is a good thing. And yet many women feel the need to look like TV and Movie stars and try to be a size 1 or smaller. I work with girls with eating disorders and I see what a lack of self love can do to a psyche.

Please embrace your inner Goddess and love who and what you are. Everyone deserves unconditional love.

Every time you gaze at this shrine, know that you are loved!"
